Defenseman Mike Green is staying put in Detroit, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger. The Wings also are likely to add Jonathan Bernier and Thomas Vanek as well.

Andrei Svechnikov, the No. 2 pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday.Including a signing bonus, the contract has an AAV of $925,000.
