The NHL is allowing players to vote for up to four players from a pre-selected ballot to be the “Last Man In” from their division for the 2019 All-Star Game. Filip Forsberg is the Predators’ representative on that list and would join Pekka Rinne and Roman Josi if chosen and if healthy enough to play.
There are also some other familiar names in other divisions who some of us might want to see return to the ASG on that ballot (including former Preds/current Canadiens captain Shea Weber, which is still a very weird thing to type). Of course, with Forsberg’s recent injury you might also prefer to vote for someone else from the Central instead. There are plenty of other great candidates from the division on the Last Man In ballot, including—among others—Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog, Jets sniper Patrik Laine, and a couple of good players having bad shooting luck in Vladimir Tarasenko and Tyler Seguin. The choice is yours.
Voting has just gone live at nhl.com/vote—each person with a NHL.com account will be able to vote ten times per day for the next week.
