Nashville Predators News & Notes

Nashville Predators F Ryan Johansen gets $5K fine for elbowing Point | TSN
Kind of strange that the max they can fine a player making $8 million a year is five grand, but regardless I’m glad Joey isn’t getting suspended. For the record, I have zero problem with the major penalty and him getting the boot for this hit.

Evander Kane gets the Ryan Johansen treatment for his hit on Radko Gudas. I think his was a little more egregious than Joey’s, but the DoPS only hit him with a fine because he did it to Radko Gudas.

I’m kidding, obviously, but only just a little bit.
