“Vancouver hasn’t had much lottery luck in recent years, but they have found luck at the draft where great players have fallen to them. Hosting the draft later this week, all eyes are on the Canucks. Trade up? Trade down? Take the best player available? GM Jim Benning says he’s considering anything.”

Vezina Trophy winner debated by NHL.com
This should be Ben Bishop’s award this year. He has the best GAA (1.98) of the three finalists, and he led the NHL with a .934 save percentage. And while he started 8 fewer games than Vasilevskiy, he still managed to have one more shutout than him.

Again, this should be Bishop’s award this year.

Escrow tops NHL players’ list of concerns ahead of CBA talks | Sportsnet
While Olympic participation and health care are still considered highly important topics, it appears escrow will be the main sticking point during labor talks.
