Filip Forsberg isn’t shy about shining on an international stage, but he’s never had an opportunity quite like this before.
The (soon to be) 22-year-old will get his first crack at playing against the very best the world has to offer when he represents Team Sweden at this year’s World Cup of Hockey.

Sure, he’s played in both Worlds Junior and Championship, but never has the talent pool on each roster been as deep as it will be in Toronto. Forsberg may be coming off a career year and (fingers crossed) brand new contract, and will be looking to make a huge impact with his Swedish brethren.
