Filip Forsberg Sets New Rookie Record for Predators

Filip Forsberg now has the most points by a rookie in Nashville Predators‘ history.

With a secondary assist on Mike Fisher’s game-tying goal in the third period against the Carolina Hurricanes, Forsberg notched his 38th point of the season in only his 39th game. The previous record holder, Alexander Radulov, took 67 games to accomplish the feat.

Here’s the glorious moment:

It’s pretty safe to say that the record is going to extend beyond where it is tonight. Forsberg has been a force this season, and one of the big reasons why the Predators have been having as much success as they are. He’s truly been something special, and at only 20 years of age, he has a chance to make waves in the league for a long, long time.

Congratulations, Mr. Forsberg.
