Sidney Crosby will miss the start of the regular season after the Penguins’ captain had a procedure on his left wrist. He is expected to be out at least six weeks.
A nagging injury will sideline Crosby at the start of the NHL season.

As Wickenheiser describes it, this weekend’s work will be about “a little less thinking, and a little more playing and competing” so the Leafs’ staff can assess where each player is at in terms of their “full package” of skills.
