The New Jersey Devils signed Tomas Tatar to a two-year, $9 million contract on Thursday and may have found a free agent steal to upgrade their roster.
The Devils add to their interesting offseason moves.

After serving as the league’s interim commissioner for about nine months, Ty Tumminia is officially on board as the NWHL’s new, full-time commissioner.
The NWHL drops the “interim” part of the title and keeps Ty Tumminia at the helm.

Dubois to honor Kivlenieks by changing to jersey No. 80 for Jets | nhl.com
Pierre-Luc Dubois will wear No. 80 with the Winnipeg Jets this season to honor former teammate Matiss Kivlenieks, who died July 4.
What a thoughtful tribute for his former teammate.
