The Nashville Predators head to Toronto, where they will once again try to win a hockey game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs
A lot of the usual suspects are scoring for Toronto — Mitch Marner, William Nylander, John Tavares, Morgan Rielly — and now that they’ve got Auston Matthews back he’s also helping drive offense at a ferocious rate for a Maple Leafs team that’s struggling to get to the net. Young winger Matthew Knies looks like he’ll be someone to keep an eye on, as well.
Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll have both turned in great performances in net, though they’ve been helped out by a strong defensive performance in front of them — both at even strength and on the penalty kill. Despite having what looks like it should be a very strong power play, the Leafs haven’t been able to convert on it often.
How to Watch
The game airs at 6:30 PM Central on FanDuel Sports Network South and 102.5 The Game. If you’re on the road and didn’t get enough cold in Minnesota over the weekend, you’re out of luck; it’s a balmy above-freezing in Toronto today.
