We’re all used to hockey players suffering the various bumps, bruises and broken bones that are a staple of every NHL season, but yesterday it was two senior members of the Nashville Predators who headed to the hospital, Pete Weber due to a heart attack and David Poile courtesy of a puck to the forehead.
While we wait for further word on their recovery, I wanted to use this space to extend our best wishes to both of these men, pivotal figures in the development of Nashville’s hockey community. Call it a virtual Get Well card, if you will, and feel free to add your thoughts in the comments below.
