Today’s match-up features both current and former Predators defensemen. It’s a good one.
#4 Roman Josi (11/10/15 vs OTT)
On November 11th, 2015, the foundation underneath Bridgestone Arena gained another crack. The crowd “went ape” as Roman Josi undressed former Norris trophy winner Erik Karlsson for an absolutely sensational game tying goal. In a game that feeatured 12 goals (the Preds won 7-5), the only goal worth remembering is in the video below.
Josi would finish with just the one point, but it was a doozy.

#5 Shea Weber (5/3/16 vs. SJ, Game 3)
Facing an 0-2 deficit in the 2nd round against the Sharks, the Predators hosted Game 3 on Tuesday, May 3rd and Shea Weber helped lead the team to a much needed victory. With about five minutes left in the 2nd period, Weber skated into a loose puck in the high slot and ripped a “no-doubter” by Martin Jones to give the Preds the lead. Weber’s play helped limit the Sharks offense to just one goal in the game.
Weber also tallied an assist on Forsberg’s late power play goal in the 3rd. The Predators won 4-1 to cut the series lead to a 2-1 Sharks lead.
