Monday’s Dump & Chase: Life Happens

There will be no Predcast this week. Last Wednesday night, my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl just after the Preds beat the Stars. This is our first child, so things are a bit overwhelming. Alas, the Predcast had to take a week off. Stay tuned next week though, we will be back to recap a ton of action. MAYBE WE WILL HAVE A CHRISTMAS PREVIEW FOR YOU GUYS

Three-goal second period sparks Bruins past Lightning
I really thought Jimmy Hayes would be a steal for the Bruins last year and this year. He scored his first goal in 36 games in this one, and now has only 14 in 95 games with Boston. Just your run of the mill bottom six forward I guess.

The Canadiens, and four other teams that relied heavily on great goaltending | The Hockey News
FYI: All of these teams were great in the regular season and made great playoff runs. None of them won the Stanley Cup.

Matt Carle’s Time with the Flyers
Matt Carle is not Andrew Macdonald… because of that, I’m sure he will be remembered fondly.
