It’s hard to tell if this means that the Badgers are elite, or if the top three teams in the Big Ten are all just great and everyone else in the conference is pedestrian.

Minnesota State then followed the game up with a 5-1 win over Bowling Green the next night. The Mavericks overall did a great job limiting Bowling Green to the perimeter and, when they had chances, Dryden McKay shut everything down. Minnesota State looks like a team built to win the NCAA tournament.

Boston University’s forward Luke Tuch scored a pair of goals to give his team a 3-1 win over rival Boston College, and a split of the weekend. His brother, Alex, now in the NHL, starred for Boston College from 2014-16.
