Nashville Predators 6, Buffalo Sabres 1: Lots of goals highlight a happy night at Bridgestone Arena
The Nashville Predators ended their six-game home losing streak with authority, stomping the Buffalo Sabres 6-1 tonight.
Colton Sissons and Calle Jarnkrok both notched their first career NHL goals, while Colin Wilson broke a scoreless drought that was approaching three months, and Shea Weber scored twice to hit the 20-goal mark for the second time in his career. Eric Nystrom even got into the act with a late 3rd period goal, as all of Nashville's forwards recorded at least one point on the night.
Carter Hutton made 31 saves to push his record to 17-11-4.
This marks the fifth time this season the Preds have scored more than 4 goals in a game, the most recent being last Friday at Calgary. Next up, Nashville (32-31-11) heads to Dallas for a game tomorrow night.
