Calle Jarnkrok’s work isn’t done, as he has been dispatched from Nashville back to Milwaukee to help the Admirals in their chase for the Calder Cup, the AHL’s playoff trophy. Since he’s only been with the organization for about 6 weeks, you’d have to think that extra playing time these days will pay off in the lead-up to the 2014-15 NHL season, and help the Predators better understand how he’ll fit into their plans.

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Calle Jarnkrok to Milwaukee (AHL), who recently clinched its 12th consecutive Calder Cup Playoff berth, the longest active streak in the American Hockey League.
Jarnkrok, 22 (9/25/91), posted nine points (2g-7a) in in his first 12 NHL games with the Predators in 2013-14, including a point in each of his first five career contests, and three points (1g-2a) in Nashville’s regular-season finale, a 7-3 win at Minnesota. The Gavle, Sweden native has posted 43 points (18g-25a) in 62 games during his first full season in North America split between Milwaukee and Grand Rapids, including seven points (5g-2a) in five games with the Admirals.
