Nashville Predators News: Colton Sissons recalled from Milwaukee

With the Nashville Predators all but officially eliminated from playoff contention, many fans have wanted to see young offensively-oriented prospects called up from Milwaukee for a chance to test themselves at the NHL level, and that process has begun today with the recall of Colton Sissons in time for tonight’s game against Ottawa.

From the Preds’ website:

Sissons, 20 (11/5/93), has appeared in four games for the Predators during his rookie professional season in 2013-14, recording an assist, a +2 rating and two penalty minutes. The 6-1, 189-pound forward has recorded back-to-back two-goal games – and seven points (5g-2a) in his last four AHL outings – to lead the Admirals in goals (24) and points (41). The 2014 AHL All-Star’s goal total is also good for sixth in the league, while his point total ranks sixth among rookies.

Sissons was Nashville’s 2nd-round draft pick (50th overall) in 2012, and has certainly this promotion given his work in Milwaukee.
