With Pekka Rinne joining the Nashville Predators once again for practice this morning, Devan Dubnyk is the odd man out.

Obtained via trade from Edmonton for Matt Hendricks on January 15th, Dubnyk was hoped to provide some stability in goal for the Preds but struggled in two starts, giving up nine goals and taking losses on both occasions. Assuming he clears waivers at 11:00 a.m. Central tomorrow, the Predators can send him to Milwaukee.
If they want, they can always bring him back later in the week, because once the Trade Deadline passes the 23-man Active Roster limit no longer applies.
