Ryan Ellis Named NHL’s Second Star of the Week

Y’all, it’s good to have Ryan Ellis back in the lineup. Our favorite ginger notched points in all three games Nashville played last week for a total of 7 points (1 goal, 6 assists). It’s evident his presence in the lineup has reinvigorated the Predators and, as you all know, the Predators are finally in a playoff spot.

Ellis’s goal came against Ottawa last Tuesday…ON THE POWER PLAY!

Ellis had three assists against Calgary. Per the NHL’s official release, this is the third time this season Ellis has posted multiple points in at least 3 straight games. Even though he missed 20 games with a concussion sustained at the 2020 Winter Classic, Ellis’s return to the lineup cannot be missed.

Former Predator Kevin Fiala, a forward currently with the Minnesota Wild, and Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz were named the NHL’s first and third stars of the week.

The NHL’s announcement can be found here.

It’s safe to say that #4 has been a catalyst for the Nashville Predators since returning from injury.
