Nashville Predators Sign Rem Pitlick to 1-Year, 2-Way Contract

Rem Pitlick signed his qualifying offer from the Nashville Predators on the evening of October 18th, 2020. The contract is a 1-year, 2-way deal that will pay him $70,000 at the AHL level and $874,125 at the NHL level. Pitlick spent last season with the Milwaukee Admirals, the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators. Pitlick suited up in 63 games for Milwaukee last season, scoring 36 points with 20 goals and 16 assists.

Pitlick has been a perennial standout at development camps and was part of the return-to-play training camp in Nashville this summer. He did not, however, travel with the team to Edmonton. Pitlick’s name has been mentioned numerous times by Predators General Manager David Poile as a player he would like to see in Nashville next season as a part of the “youth movement”.

From this writer’s perspective, Pitlick is a hard worker on the ice who has good puck sense and never gives up. Look for him to impress in training camp this season.
