So, last night rumors (we repeat: RUMORS) leaked that Duchene is coming to Nashville, Pavelski and Perry are headed to Dallas, Myers is signing in Vancouver for a mere $6M per, Bobrovsky and Connolly will sign in Florida, Zuccarello and (ex-Nashville-Predator) Hartman are going to Minnesota, Varlamov is heading to the Isles, and Artemi Panarin is going to make a fortune in an undisclosed location that probably isn’t Colorado.
The Canadiens appear to be clearing space and hoarding picks for an offer sheet (or “une offre hostile”—I love that). Meanwhile, Nikita Zaitsev and Connor Brown got traded to the Senators for Cody Ceci. What a world.
