OTF Game Night: NHL Season Begins With 3 Games
Who's ready to watch some hockey tonight?
Sure, the Preds don't play until Thursday, but settle in for Opening Night of the 2013-14 NHL Regular Season (virtually) alongside your OTF pals. Until October 19th you can check out NHL Center Ice on most cable or satellite providers for free, so take advantage of that while you can.
For non-Predators game nights (I can't promise we'll get to every one this season), we'll open up threads like this for folks to follow along with the action together. Whether you've been here a long time or are a relative newbie, please take a moment to read the Community Guidelines before wading into the deep water, m'kay?
We have a trio of games on tonight's menu...
Toronto Maple Leafs at Montreal Canadiens (6 p.m.)
Ancient rivals faceoff to launch the season.
Washington Capitals at Chicago Blackhawks (7 p.m., NBC Sports)
The defending Stanley Cup champions kick things off by hosting a Marty Party.
Winnipeg Jets at Edmonton Oilers (9 p.m., Center Ice)
Our newest division rival takes on the Alberta Zoom Boys.
