Pekka Rinne sets shutout record at 2015 IIHF World Championship

Pekka Rinne has been tearing it up for Team Finland at the 2015 IIHF World Championships. Just how much, you ask?

I think that qualifies as “a whole bunch.” Rinne has been tearing it up a whole bunch.

He has not allowed a goal in his last 5 games, tallying 207 minutes of scoreless hockey while he’s in the crease. Incredible.

Finland currently sits in third place in Group B with 12 points in five games played, pending the results of their game against Belarus. That game is still in progress at press time.
