Report: Nashville Predators extend Mikael Granlund
The forward is reported to have signed a four-year contract with an AAV of $5 million.
This morning featured a rapid reversal on the subject of Mikael Granlund. Initially, it was reported that he'd likely be heading to the market and not returning to the Nashville Predators:

Then, suddenly, this was reversed:
Mikael Granlund is returning to the Predators on a four-year, $20 million contract.

Whether there was a miscommunication or one side of the negotiations called the other's bluff, it'll be good to see Granlund back. He was a key part of the Predators’ successes last season. The new contract will keep him with Nashville until he’s 34.
