Ryan Johansen and Seth Jones meet at Columbus airport after being traded for one another
What a small world.
Imagine you just got traded from your NHL team, you get off the plane in your new city and immediately run into the player you were swapped for.
Such was the life of Seth Jones last night when he landed in Columbus after being acquired by the Blue Jackets. Ryan Johansen was waiting for his flight to Nashville.
Ok, it probably wasn't immediately, and may not have even been happenstance. The two friends shared a laugh and snapped a picture, but it's hard to imagine it wasn't at least a little awkward for a second. But hey, Joey got a place to stay out of it:
Jones offered his Nashville apartment to Johansen, and apparently Johansen said yes. Johansen wanted to do the same, but he has a roommate.

Jones said they talked for about 20 minutes, "just about the organizations" and other stuff about their new cities.
