Drury named GM of U.S. national team for 2021 IIHF World Championship; Poile to Advise
Chris Drury was named general manager on Friday of the United States men’s ice hockey team that will compete at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.  Nashville Predators general manager David Poile will be part of the Team Advisory Group, alongside several other league and team executives.

Steven Stamkos looks to return to the ice after going on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol yesterday, as the Tampa Bay forward suspects the test was a “false positive”.  In either case, this situation might be the only thing slowing down Stamkos, who leads the Lightning with seven goals.

Wild back at practice, have ‘turned the corner’ after postponements | NHL.com
The Minnesota Wild returned to practice Friday after a nine-day shutdown because of NHL COVID-19 protocols.  Sixteen players practiced yesterday, including former Predator Kevin Fiala.  The recently-departed Nick Bonino is one of twelve Wild players still unavailable due to inclusion on the COVID-19 protocol.
