Vesey Receives Second-Straight Walter Brown Award | Harvard
Jimmy Vesey was called possibly the best college player in America by Harvard Alumn Alex Killorn last night. Ryan Johansen Q&A | BlueJackets Xtra
All you need to know from this interview: “AP: Hot Chicken in Nashville. Big deal or so what? RJ: It’s a big deal, and I like it. Just had it the other day for the first time. I went mild.”

Are any of the NHL’s trade deadline deals making an impact? | CBS Sports
Eric Staal has 1 goal and 2 assists in 12 games for the New York Rangers. It’s still early but so far it’s looking like a good thing the Predators didn’t have to resort to trading for him.

Dreger Report: Puck-tracking technology to the rescue? | TSN
Puck tracking has been in the works for months in the NHL. The Boston Bruins situation illustrates perfectly why this technology is so important to create.

Former NHL goalie finds his long-ago stolen mask on eBay | FOX Sports
Pretty funny story. Mathieu Garon had his mask stolen when he played for the L.A. Kings from 2005-2007 and now it’s up on eBay.

Ducks’ Josh Manson fined by NHL for gesture at Nazem Kadri | ESPN
There is a lot of trash talk that goes on in hockey but the throat-slashing gesture crosses the line.
