Shea Weber Injury: Nashville Predators Captain Leaves Game vs Winnipeg
Nashville Predators captain Shea Weber left tonight's game in Winnipeg early in the 3rd period, after apparently straining himself taking a shot from the point. Fox Sports TN showed Weber skating with some discomfort after the shot, and receiving treatment from a trainer on the bench before heading off to the dressing room.
On the night, Weber had an assist and 3 shots on goal in 17:45 of ice time, and left the Preds with a 4-3 lead. We'll provide further updates as soon as they become available, but hopefully it's not a major issue:
Shea Weber will be reevaluated when Preds get back to NSH. Was told after though that they don't believe it is that serious (upper body)
