Shea Weber Leaves Game Against Edmonton After Taking a Puck to the Face

Late into the second period of their game against the Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators captain Shea Weber took a puck to the face and left the game. The Predators announced before the start of the third that he wouldn’t return.

Hopefully, this is just precautionary. The injury didn’t look super terrible, but pucks to the face are never something you want to see. Weber leads the team with seven goals, and having him miss any time would be yet another devastating blow for this Nashville squad.
