Sports Illustrated Models Get a Hockey Lesson From Preds Players, Team Becomes Even Cooler

This is just the best.

Growing up here, I used to never go downtown. Broadway wasn't nice, the Ryman was in disrepair, and it was no place for a kid. 20 years later, we have Sports Illustrated having their swimsuit issue launch in the middle of Broadway. So while I haven't bought the SI Swimsuit Issue since Tyra Banks was on the cover, it's tough to downplay how awesome this is.

So join me in nerding out over Emily DiDonato and Kate Bock taking "lessons" in hockey from Roman Josi, Seth Jones, and Filip Forsberg.

The full gallery is up on the Preds website. Per Tom Willis, expect to see an SI video feature of this adventure AND a clip of this on Beneath The Ice.

I guess when you win games and play in a cool city, things like this are more likely to happen. The models skating around with Vladimir Orszagh and Bill Houlder back in the early days of the franchise would've been hilarious, but not "cool". This is legit cool.

@katelynnebock & @emilydidonato1 have taken over Bridgestone Arena. Forsberg's got nothing on our girls! #SISwim #preds
