Thursday’s Dump & Chase: Preds Get Back to Business

Do or do not…there is no try.

He’s playing a more realistic role now…along with more realistic minutes.

Not a surprise, really. Nice to be considered, though.

A fascinating look into the process, and I highly suggest you take the time to read it. Three things…

1. While Poile is the GM, there were A LOT of cooks in the kitchen on this one. And there seemed to be agreement that this was the best roster.

2. At least 5 of those cooks appear to have been Brian Burke, who is arguably incompetent.

3. As with any team, on-ice performance will tell if some of these choices were the wrong ones. We’ll know soon enough.

I can’t get too worked up over who the third goalie is, but a good debate on the others.

The snow, the game, the passionate fans…all looked better from the comfort of my couch. Looks like those who went had a great time, though.

And the Preds are trying not to drown at #22.
