I know this isn’t hockey, and commissioners are rarely popular, but it’s important to remember the good ones like Stern. He could sometimes seem like a bit of a dinosaur, but he was always willing to accept change to progress the league. That’s what you want out of a commissioner. Every sport should be so lucky to have someone like that at the helm.
