Hurricanes’ Rod Brind’Amour fined $25K for criticizing officials after Game 1 loss | ESPN
So there was a big goalie interference snafu yesterday in that Canes/Bruins game. Just take a look.

Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour said officials wouldn’t clarify what they had called on the ice after a Bruins goal, so he “had to flip a coin” on whether to challenge the hand pass or goaltender interference. He picked wrong, and boy was he not happy. The coach would later tell reporters, “This is why the league’s a joke in my opinion. That one is a crime scene.”

I’m definitely going to start calling everyday inconveniences a crime scene going forward. “What do you mean the ice cream machine is broken? This is a CRIME SCENE!”

Brind’Amour had plenty more to say, so I’ll just paste Sara Civian’s thread with the quotes here.
