So it appears there’s a slight chance that Arvidsson misses the season opener tonight. But have no fear, Eeli Tolvanen is here and he’s been practicing alongside Johansen and Forsberg.

The opening night roster has officially been released. Some quick notes:

  • Phillip Tomasino, Rem Pitlick, and Anthony Richard will start the season with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL
  • Mathieu Olivier, Cole Smith, Eeli Tolvanen, Alexandre Carrier, and Connor Ingram are on the taxi squad.
  • Yannick Weber has been released from his PTO (Godspeed, sir)
  • Mikael Granlund (visa issues) and Luca Sbisa have been designated as non-roster players/
