Vancouver Canucks’ Antoine Roussel fined $5k for roughing Edmonton’s Jesse Puljujarvi | TSN
Fair punishment? Too steep? Too little? You be the judge.

Flyers-Bruins at Lake Tahoe most watched regular-season NHL game on NBCSN | NHL.com
The NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe last weekend delivered record TV ratings, including the most-watched regular-season game in NBC Sports Network history.

Too bad NBCSN is basically dead at this point. I guess this will help the NHL secure its next TV deal, however.

The All-Outdoor Team: the Best Fresh-Air Performers in NHL History | The Hockey News on Sports Illustrated
Speaking of outdoor games, after 17-plus years and 32 outdoor events, which NHLers have the best all-time resumes in the open air?

Can Auston Matthews score 50 goals in 50 games? | Sportsnet
It would be extremely cool to see a player net 50 goals in 50 games this year.

That being said, I’d love for it to be literally any other player besides Auston Matthews.

Carolina Hurricanes’ Teuvo Teravainen out for road trip due to concussion | ESPN
Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour said Tuesday that winger Teuvo Teravainen is sidelined with a concussion, and won’t travel with the team for their five-game road trip.
