Tuesday’s Dump & Chase: Fantasy Hockey
Since there's no bid news on the Predators front with the NHL mandated rest week, here's your chance to play GM with my fantasy hockey team.
Sitting in 5th place in a ten team Yahoo! fantasy hockey league, it's been an up and down season for Bobby. One game over .500, his 85-84-23 squad is likely going to the playoffs, but feels a far cry away from contending. No, Matt Duchene is not available and no I'm not trading for him.
For those of you unfamiliar with fantasy hockey on Yahoo!, each week my lineup is staged against an opponent. There are twelve categories in which our teams are compared: goals, assists, points, +/-, PPP, SOG, hits, blocked shots, wins, GAA, SV%, and shutouts. My team is probably the worst in +/- in the league (#Moulsonstats), but that's Yahoo!'s fault for not evaluating team Corsi (#Fancystats).
Alas, here is my team and some of the top free agents! I don't foresee making any transactions with my goalies, but are there any other moves I should make? Someone need to go? Time to stop being a homer and trade one of my three Predator forwards? Hah, okay yes, the last idea was silly, but if there are fantasy hockey gurus in the OTF comments, what should be done to this team?
