Tuesday's Dump & Chase: Charged Up

Things got heated in the final frame of last night's game against the Lightning. The real question is, will the league do anything about it?

Holy moly, was that a 3rd period. The Predators found a way to hold off the Lightning despite a number of highly questionable, dangerous plays by J.T. Brown and Jason Garrison. I'd say we should look forward to seeing what kind of punishment the league will deal out... but this is the NHL we are talking about.

P.K. Subban scores twice in Predators win
Subban, Rinne, and Ellis all had great games. Lost in the 3rd period madness was a fairly complete win by the Preds over an injury plagued Lightning team.

"And this one got ugly near the end, J.T. Brown starting a line brawl by punching Ryan Ellis, who got a five-minute interference major for his hit, which Brian Boyle dubbed 'extremely dirty.'"

I wonder if they asked him about Brown's hit on Josi or about Garrison high stick on Arvidsson?

Really love these speculative Vegas/expansion draft discussions. For the money, I like LV's chances at nabbing some good defensemen from these Canadian teams. Stuart, Sbisa, Marincin, Methot, Emelin... all solid acquisitions with some great value as well.
