Who the NHL draft experts are saying the Predators will select at #11 | A to Z Sports
“The Nashville Predators are set to select 11th in the NHL Draft on Tuesday. But who will they take? A mock draft roundup.” It’s a tough call. Everyone is talking up Yaroslav Askarov so much he may go earlier. He would be a good pick. But additional forward or defense talent is going to be needed at the AHL level when they raid the cupboard after training camp.

Dominos are beginning to fall. Also heard the Chicago Blackhawks were kicking the tires on Matt Murray, but couldn’t come to an extension agreement.

Minnesota Wild trade Ryan Donato to San Jose Sharks for 2021 third-rounder | ESPN
“Minnesota has traded forward Ryan Donato to the Sharks, the latest move in the Wild’s effort to rebuild.” The Minnesota Wild were busy…err…bears yesterday with this trade, a goalie trade (Devan Dubnyk for a pick and half of his salary retained) and an extension for Carson Soucy.

Colorado Avalanche to move on from Wilson, Connauton | Mile High Hockey
