This is so weird to me. How has this not happened before? And why does it happen in the middle of December? There are NHL arenas in Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville, and Tampa, and there hasn’t been a game cancelled yet due to ice not freezing. Then finally it happens in Carolina in the middle of December. Bizarre.
