Tuesday’s Dump & Chase: Win One (or more) for the Gimpy
I’d like to roll over these guys and rest before the second round.
Okay first, there was a playoff hockey game last night. I’m sure there is an immediate recap to the right or below this post and will be a more thorough analysis later this morning.
Second, I have had an ugly respiratory infection since returning from Game 1. (I am blaming lunch with friends from Franklin, TN the Saturday before - which included hugs.) Had to sell tickets to Game 2 (to a Preds fan), but am determined to be there for Game 5. All that being said, the links may be a little light this week (yes, there are links) as I’m still frequently napping.
Game 3 Projected Lineup: Predators at Stars | NHL.com
I really clipped this for the updates on Brian Boyle and Wayne Simmonds. It’s strange that two of our three deadline acquisitions are the first to go down this year.

This week I present to you Tucker Irwin. What a good and pretty boy! Cool collar too.

Chris Weidman tells story of aborted plan to try out for New York Islanders | Bloody Elbow
“Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman used to play ice hockey, and he once aimed to try and make an NHL squad several years ago.” A cautionary tale for other professional athletes who think they can just “go do that hockey”.

I am so there for him to get a Happily Ever After.

Hey—there is one more. Here we go! We may be in for a long wait though. Yep waiting...waiting. Poor goalies. We’re not even here as the team being beat. Oh Pierre—watch out! Referee rituals. Still waiting...Oh no, be careful what you wish for. Ouch Kevin Fiala. You got munched. Ah Pekka Rinne—sorry. P.K. Subban dance. That’s it?!?!?! Not a single Nashville Predators highlight except for the Subby dance. That’s it—I’m done with ya.
