While it’s hard to say goodbye (maybe?), it’s time for a fresh start.
This coaching change was inevitable with Barry Trotz newly at the helm. A new GM should choose a new coach. I’m not sure I like how things were done here, but I wish the best of luck to Dan Lambert and John Hynes. They’ll land jobs elsewhere, and I hope they are successful there.
Another coaching change on Tuesday, this time in Washington.

They were built through a generous draft but also a lot of aggressive trading. They’re built for RIGHT NOW.
Who will pick up the veteran?
Perhaps the most exciting players to watch are Mitch Marner and William Nylander.
Dallas does not need a goalie, but they need some youth and they need some defensemen who are younger than 30.
Who picks up Matthew Wood in June?
