The Predators might have dropped their pre-season bout to Columbus in overtime last night but the race to make it to opening night is still very real for some players. It may be pre-season to fans, but for those on the cusp of falling off the roster it’s do or die time. Viktor Arvidsson for one, was feeling a little more do than die last night.

We’re just a quick trip to Tampa Bay this weekend and a week away from opening night. Strap in, the last stretch always feels like the longest.
