One of the more popular role players on the Nashville Predators, Vern Fiddler, signed yesterday with the Phoenix Coyotes for 2 years and $2.2 million. While Preds fans will miss his hustle and determination, it’s nice to see Fiddler, a bit of a late bloomer at the NHL level, earn a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract.
