Nashville Predators announce new corporate sponsorship with Ford dealers

From the Nashville Predators:

Three of the biggest names in the south are teaming up once again as the Mid-South Ford Dealers begin a multi-year sponsorship deal with the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena.  The new “Ford Road Show” display showcases Ford’s newest vehicles, including the new Ford F150 truck, the economic Ford Escape and the 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid, giving Nashvillians an up-close and personal look at the vehicles fueling Ford’s innovation.

“The Mid-South Ford Dealers are very excited about our new products, as well as the direction of the Ford Motor Company,” Two Rivers Ford Owner/Chairman Mid-South Ford Dealer Advertising Fund, John L. Barker said. “The Bridgestone Arena provides us with a great downtown venue in which to display our new product line up.  Our display has a real Nashville look and feel that people will enjoy.”

Located on the concourse level inside the arena, the “Ford Road Show” is a first of its kind for all companies involved. With more than 25,000 square feet of new vehicle showcase and all new digital displays, this space has been transformed to resemble that of a local Honky Tonk. From the neon signs to the brick walls and the backlit marquees – this new display will engage Bridgestone Arena customers in an experience unique only to Ford.

“The ‘Ford Road Show’ display is proof that Mid-South Ford is taking its branding and creative to new levels,” Nashville Predators Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Chris Junghans said. “This unique showroom space looks exactly like what you find outside of any local Honky Tonk hot-spot in Nashville. It will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression of the Ford brand and the Bridgestone Arena.”

In addition to the vehicle display, the Mid-South Ford Dealers are also using in-bowl signage and Megatron, LED signage and a number of other unique elements to help further the Ford brand here in Nashville.

It’s interesting that this partnership is with Ford and not Nissan, which has its North American headquarters just down the road in Franklin, Tennessee, but it’s very encouraging to see another new corporate partnership announced by the Preds.
