Ovechkin is coming! Ovechkin is coming! The Nashville Predators announced their 2010 pre-season schedule this morning, and besides the usual home-and-home sets with Atlanta and Carolina, Preds fans will also get to see Alex Ovechkin’s Flying Circus, the Washington Capitals, at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday, September 25th.

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the Predators will open their 2010 preseason schedule by hosting the Carolina Hurricanes on Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. CT.
Nashville’s six-game preseason schedule includes two other home games: Saturday, Sept. 25 against the defending President’s Trophy winning Washington Capitals (7 p.m.) and Monday, Sept. 27 against its closest geographical rivals, the Atlanta Thrashers (7 p.m.).
The 2010-11 Nashville Predators rookie training camp is scheduled to open Monday, Sept. 13, with veterans reporting on Friday, Sept. 17 with testing and physicals. The Predators’ first day on the ice will be Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Centennial Sportsplex. The 2010-11 NHL regular-season schedule will be announced on Tuesday, June 22.
