The Nashville Predators will look to finish off their Atlantic Division back-to-back by leaving Tampa Bay victorious tomorrow night. The Lightning will be trying to take back their lead in the division, while the Preds will try to separate themselves from the rest of the league.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Despite being 5-5-0 in their last 10 and losing their spot atop the Atlantic division, this is still a formidable Lightning team.

Offensively, they have guys like Hart candidate Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, Vladislav Namestnikov, and Brayden Point, and defensively they have Hedman and Co. to hold down the fort in front of Andrei Vasilevskiy.

While the Preds definitely have a good shot at winning, Tampa Bay has had their number this season, winning the first matchup 4-3 in OT and also winning both preseason games between the two teams. They are a good team, and Nashville will have their hands full tonight, although they can definitely pull the win off.

Nashville Predators

The Preds are fine. Yes, they’ve been playing poorly recently and lost a few more games than everyone expected, but it also wasn’t like they were going to win out in the last 20 games.

Craig Smith and the captain have played extremely well, even in recent losses, and the rest of the team hasn’t looked too shabby either. Outisde of last night’s fiasco against the Sabres, the Predators goaltending duo has played as well as or better than any other duo in the league, and no one has played as well as Pekka Rinne for most of the last few weeks.
