P.K. Subban Jumps Ahead Of Patrick Kane In All-Star Captain Vote

The NHL’s All-Star fan voting is picking up some steam with the 2017 festivities set to take place at the end of January in Los Angeles.

Fans simply vote from a list of players, or you can add a write-in, from each division. Whoever receives the most votes will be the captain of their respective 3-on-3 teams for the All-Star Game.

Carey Price leads the way in the Atlantic Division, Connor McDavid in the Pacific Division and Sidney Crosby in the Metropolitan Division; no real surprises there.

I wonder who’s leading the vote in the Central Division? It has to be a Blackhawk, I mean Chicago has Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. Let’s not forget about Vladimir Tarasenko in St. Louis either, I mean his face is on a video game.

OH, BUT NASHVILLE HAS P.K. SUBBAN

Yep, P.K. Subban has taken over the No. 1 spot in the Central Division.

Maybe people are realizing that Subban is one of the best personalities in the league, the All-Star Game is about fun and he’d be a good guy to wear the ‘C’ for the Central? He’s good at the whole playing hockey thing, too.

You may have noticed that there are no numbers beside each player as the NHL has gotten rid of showing vote totals, ya know, after that whole John Scott thing that won over all of our hearts and was the story of the year last season.

You can help Subban keep the lead in the vote here.

Does it actually mean anything if Subban does win the vote and wears the ‘C’ in the All-Star Game? Nope. Would it be awesome? Yep.
