Saturday's Dump & Chase: Where Art Thou Craig?

The Nashville Predators were without Craig Smith for Game 1 against the San Jose Sharks and lost. That puts their record at 0-4 when the speedy sniper is out. I'm not saying he's that important but the Predators look like a different team when he's in the lineup.

Nashville Predators News & Notes

Predators Recall Aberg from Milwaukee | Nashville Predators
Pontus Aberg seemed like he was going to make his first NHL start when he took line rushes and then the Predators did the old switcheroo and put Eric Nystrom into the game. That's probably for the best even though Nystrom isn't that great. In the playoffs I'd much rather have a known quantity who is not that great than an unknown quantity who has never played an NHL game.

NHL, players association expansion draft agreement is good news for Bill Foley | Las Vegas Review-Journal
The one thing I don't like about the rules is that a team like the Minnesota Wild (who has 5 players with No Movement Clauses) will likely be left completely untarnished as opposed to the Predators (who only have one player with a No Movement Clause.)
