I think the biggest actual news in this piece is that the Preds organization is treating “gold”, as in the team’s color appearing in the new Winter Classic uniforms, as a–I was about to say “proper noun” but it’s an adjective. As a word that must be capitalized in use to distinguish it.

I’m really glad both that Tynan is okay and that the IceDogs aren’t shoving the rest of those kids right back into sportsing like nothing is wrong. It’s, uh, probably too much to hope that they’ve made a counselor available in case any of their players want to talk to someone, but I’m hoping anyway.
