The OTF community is an active bunch these days, speculating about the future of the Nashville Predators, grousing over losses, and looking ahead to game nights at Bridgestone Arena. For the next couple weeks, however, let’s put our collective energy & enthusiasm behind a cause that needs our help.
OTF Virtual Food Drive
On The Forecheck is joining the fight against hunger this month by participating in a Virtual Food Drive for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Head over to our team’s Virtual Food Drive page, where you can shop for specific items (such as canned vegetables, pasta, peanut butter, etc.) which are needed or make a simple monetary donation to Second Harvest. I’ve set our team goal at $1,000 – roughly one buck for each time we hear someone propose a trade of Ryan Ellis & a draft pick for that elusive goal scorer the Preds need.
