Subban Expected to Miss the Next Two Games

The Nashville Predators have announced that defenseman P.K. Subban is expected to miss the next two games with an upper-body injury.

Prior to Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Wild, there were rumors swirling around that Subban was suffering from a herniated disc – leading many to believe this would be a long-term injury.

Subban, met with doctors on Wednesday, after having missed the previous five games already. If he does indeed return after two games, Subban’s first game back will be on Jan. 3 against the Montreal Canadiens – the team who traded him to Nashville for Shea Weber over the summer.

Nashville’s next two games are against division foes Chicago and St. Louis. If Nashville is going to climb the standings, they will need a healthy Subban who is sixth on the team in points (7G, 10A, 17P).
